Company Auditions: Ages 12-15

This registration will open on Thursday, June 20th for auditions. All audition payments may be submitted through the website. We will have a representative confirming your registration on audition day. All students interested in performing with the company are required to audition. Please keep in mind that the company dancers make a serious commitment to rehearsals and competition weekends. Also, there are additional expenses that accompany being a member. We take pride in the success of our company and we hold our company members to the highest standard.

The Junior audition will be held at 10:00 am. This audition is for all current Junior Company members and any interested dancers between the ages 11-13. The Teen & Senior audition will be held at 12:30pm. The audition is for all current Teen & Senior Company members and any interested dancers from the ages of 14 & up. Students are placed in the proper companies by technique and performance levels (not by age). There will be an elimination process this year. However, all results will be sent by email.

There will be a ballet, jazz, and contemporary/lyrical section to each audition - please bring the appropriate attire and shoes.

Rules:

All company members must attend all rehearsals – unexcused absences will not be tolerated. All company members must attend all of their regularly scheduled technique classes or these absences will also be included as unexcused absences. Company dancers must take four techniques – ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acrobatics or Hip Hop. All company members must be available for the entire competition season including Nationals.

Financial Obligations:

Competition fees average approximately $50 per routine per competition – Some students are placed in more than one routine. We participate in three competitions that include a workshop. The workshop fee averages $255 per workshop.

Competition costumes average between $150 - $175 per costume – again some students are placed in more one routine. These fees are over and above the monthly fees paid for tuition. Also, these costumes are in addition to the recital costumes required for all students. Keep in mind that the competition and costume fees are an estimate and other fees may apply!
