Fundraising

Welcome Back DMA Family!

​

Fundraising is an event that we take on to support the studio and the dancers. The fundraising committee met with the directors to determine the studio needs for the dance season and how to meet those needs. It is determined that the following are the 2020-2021 Fundraising Initiatives:

✓ Studio Improvements and other studio sanitation needs for safety due to COVID-19

✓ 2021 Spring Recital/Gala (Celebrating 20 years in 2021)

✓ Nationals (NYCDA; Dates TBD)

Forms and Money Due on November 3rd

Each parent is responsible for asking 25 patrons for $20 to support their dancer for the 2020- 2021 Dance Season. Each one of those patrons will appear on the back of your dancer’s t-shirt (see to the right).

 

The cost for the shirt is $20 (paid for by the parent). The amount raised per shirt per dancer is $500.

 

Additional t-shirts can be purchased for $20. The t-shirts are unisex.

POPCORN

FUNDRAISER

NOVEMBER 26 - DECEMBER 2

The Popcorn Fundraiser normally runs for about 7 days.

 

Each dancer will create a personalized page through Double Good that can be posted on any of your social media outlets or can be emailed. The popcorn is paid online through the dancer’s personalized page and orders are shipped to the supporter. Totally hands off.

 

Once the event is over, DMA will receive 50% of the funds raised. The dancer is only credited 50% of what they raised toward the goal.

MEMORY BOOK

MARCH 1 - MAY 1

The Dancemakers of Atlanta Memory Book includes a personal tribute to honor your dancer, a business ad to promote your business, or invite local business owners to advertise their business.

 

Each year we open this fundraiser to the studio with options to purchase different sizes of ads. The Memory Book is done at the end of the dance season and is distributed prior to the dance recital. Additional information will be shared at a later date.
